Rhees was just about the cutest....I mean the most fearsome pirate ever for halloween. David and I made his costume ourselves and think it turned out pretty cute. He had a great time trick or treating, and just like last year, wanted to open each piece of candy as soon as it was put into his basket. He had a blast with Daddy doing a pirate sneak upto each house and saying "Candy, ARG!" We had to stop him from inviting himself into several houses. After about an hour he was done and asked to go back to Grandma's house. Once home, he unloaded his pirate booty and dug right in. But after a few pieces of candy he said he was tired and asked to lay in Grandma's bed. This was just for quick rest because he discovered the joy of passing candy out to other trick or treaters. Rhees would squeal with delight everytime he heard a knock at the door. He would even chase kids down the street saying, "KIDS! I got candy for you." Then he'd give each kid like 5 pieces of candy. He'd just keep putting it in their bags until they turned and walked away. It was a good night and a fun time was had by all!

Thanks for posting the pictures - I couldn't tell what his costume was in the text message.
Good job putting the costume together! He looks scary yet adorable. And "Arg, candy!" - that is simply awesome.
We were so excited to see how the pirate costume turned out. You guys are GREAT designers. You should go into the business! Ha Ha
I'm glad I got to hear Arg, candy for real when Rhees was visiting.
Pirates are usually ugly but
Rhees made the cutest pirate on the planet!!!
What a cute little pirate! Sounds like you guys had fun!
I was a pirate for about 7 years running so I am pretty sure I know a thing or two about what makes a good pirate..... a plastic sword. mascara beard and a good "arg, candy" so it looks like Rhees qualifies to be with the best of them, if not the best.
So cute!!! It's about time you get some blogging done...I've been dying to see some pictures! Thanks.
He is so cute!!
