Rhees felt that he was still a little too young to journey out into the streets to beg for candy so he just found some right underneath him. He saved some for the trick or treaters but did not part with the candy very willingly. If you were sitting on a pile of candy, would you be so eager to give it away to some strangers in strange costumes? I don't think so.

What a cute costume! Love it! He does look oh so happy to be sitting on that pile of candy.
i totally forgot how cute that costume is! Of course, I think the fact that he is alert and happy helps a lot. When Brendan wore it, he just kinda sat there like a lump.
